Carpigiani – smooth innovation.
In 2019, Carpigiani — a global leader in gelato machinery — came to Torqos with a challenge: design a smarter, more compact countertop drive solution without compromising batch quality. We applied our Direct Drive motor and controller, with embedded load sensing, to create a system that ensures consistent, silky texture while reducing footprint by over 10% compared to conventional designs.
Launched at leading international foodservice exhibitions, the new machine was met with outstanding customer feedback, strong orders, and delivered a new benchmark in frozen dessert-making.
